PLAYOFFS BEGIN... PLAYERS FEELING YOUNG AGAIN!

The Vancouver Island Lacrosse League is embarking on the 2024 playoffs and here are your first round match-up's.

P1: Saanich Express (1) vs. Cowichan Rats (8) @ 7:50pm - Thursday July 4th
P2: Victoria Jokers (3) vs. Cowichan Thunder (6) @ 9:20pm - Thursday July 4th
P3: Victoria Blazers (2) vs. GV Firefighters (7) @ 7:50pm - Tuesday July 9th
P4: Victoria Tugmen (4) vs. Westshore Aces (5) @ 9:20pm - Tuesday July 9th

Format: Double Knock out

Overtime: full 10 minutes, if still tied, there will be 20 minute periods played sudden victory.

Last 5 minutes of each period will be stop time.

5 minute break after regulation time, 2 minute break at the end of the first 10 minute OT and 5 minute break after each 20 minute OT thereafter.

Goalies do not switch ends for the first 10 minute OT but will for each 20 minute period thereafter.

If after the P14 game both teams only have 1 loss, then a 20 minute mini game will be played. The same overtime rules will apply.
