Week 7 VILL Action

Most teams have now passed the halfway mark of their VILL season, but the VILL Standings are still far from set in stone. The league leading Saanich Express are still undefeated, but recently faced a tough test against the #6 seed Victoria Firefighters. The Wsanec Arrows, despite trailing in the league standings, are starting to score goals in bunches, and are adding to the win column. The expansion Cowichan Thunder squad currently sits third, but with a game in hand over the #2 Victoria Blazers and a slightly higher point percentage. VILL team representatives met last week too, to iron out details on our inaugural VILL All-Star Game!  It's looking like it's going to be a landmark event for the league, slated for Thursday June 29 7:30 pm at Archie Browning Sports Centre. Stay tuned for more details as we get a little ways into June!
